April 2- April 10 365 Photos

Sorry I am so behind on pictures. Philip and I went on a cruise over Spring Break. Rachel was asked if she wanted to go but she really wanted to stay with Grandma Hoyt instead.

We left on Friday to head to Ft. Lauderdale,. Instead of driving the whole way we stopped in Daytona Beach and spent the night . This picture is a view of the back of the hotel from the beach. Our room is at about the top of the clock.

This was the view from our hotel room the next morning. There was a pier we would have loved to go on but of course they charge to walk on it.

We had never been on Princess Cruise Line so we were excited. Each night they showed a movie under the stars. This night we caught a few minutes of The Princess and the Frog. This is a huge screen that is on deck by the pool. We watched The Blind Side one evening. They even serve popcorn during the movie.

Here is picture of our ship from shore in Grand Cayman. We were on the Crown Princess and loved it. We love this picture because of all the beautiful shades of blue in the water. If you look close you can see the life boats we used to come ashore.

Philip loves this picture because of the palm tree. This was our last stop which was in Princess Cay, the  Cruise line's private island. It was very nice if you like to lay in the sun and bake. Philip and I don't, so we shopped a few minutes and then went back to the ship.

This is one of only a few pictures we took of ourselves. This was one of the formal nights. We had a photographer take some but only bought one. We had a wonderful time! This was the longest time we had been away on a vacation by ourselves. We really relaxed.

  1. Looks good! I believe the next cruise I take, I want to get seriously protected for the sun, get a pair of wraparound glasses, and do a little baking. With a beautiful beach like that, you can't go wrong.

  2. The movie thing sound like a good idea... maybe Carnival will start doing something like that.
